sirjee thanx for timely response.

i am glad that i have started reading your thread from the begining & completed 60 pgs by tonight & hope to complete reading entire thread in a few days. just like you sirjee, i have started to bank upon wednesdays for taking decisions, any specific reason why we perform well around wednesdays?

i undertand scrips given by you are meant only for swing but i have always found their best results around wednesdays & often booked profits in intraday itself.
i am learning TA though not doing well :( , i only daytrade or swing trade in your scrips.
bharti & unitech was another story otherwise capital aside for intraday is ONLY used for current scrips on thread II.

i wish i lived in mumbai to have convinced you to become my TA guru becoz i know i could have picked up so much from you. but it' s sad not to be trained by the best :(

from pg 1 tll now & ongoing....YOU SURELY ARE SOMEONE DIFFERENT

many thanks to you savant sir & god bless you

regards,
rishi

Aditya,

Besides what Mr. S said about my GF, a few points about BNF

- Be clear you are doing intraday and have strict stop losses and profit targets. Do not become an "investor" in it just because it did not move in your direction. Gaps next day against you can kill your account.

- Go only with the longer term trend. If the daily trend is up, then trying to short is risky. You are much better waiting.

- After a sharp rise or fall, BNF goes into a consolidation phase where it will just whipsaw around in a 30-40 range. Watch out for these days and avoid trading these ranges. Wait for a breakout to happen in either direction.

- Take aid of a technical indicator like a EMA crossover etc to help you with trend.

Having said all this about BNF, this is true for all futures :)

Regards,
Enygma.

@Savant Sir,

Well my futures foray continues.Today made quick money in BankNifty(50points) in 2 mins.Do you think i should stay away from BankNifty or is it ideal for daytrading futures?

I remember seeing your post on some thread that Banknifty is better for intraday plays.
