plz refer me some books to understand the basic functioning of the futures market!!!

i went to the nse website and selected few diff. options for the scroller at the top of the page. eg. Index Options, Index futures...wht does CE & PE stand for in the Index Options option???

have many queries abt these.....so plz can u tell me any site where all this is explained the laymans language.
