Savant Sir,
I am in a mess today...:annoyed:

As I had some office work and had to leave early morning, I told my wife to keep a check on my portfolio. I had a profit of around 1.25lack on an investment of 4.5lacks as of yesterday.

Now today morning the moment all stocks plummeted, my wife sold off my entire portfolio for just 85k profit...:annoyed:

Now when i checked every thing has recovered....(Women are not fit for any thing ):argue:

she sold
UNITEC @83 CMP 87.15
RNRL @83 CMP 88.20
IFCI @46.10 CMP 53.05
SUZLON@115 CMP 122.10

Should I re-enter at current levels.. Please advice..
HI IZZNER,

There is a saying 'Whwn you are up look up, When you are down look down'. I will give you another case. My friend's wife sold off entire portfolio worth 15 lakhs the day before election results were announced, fearing the market will nose dive. Now see the market. You be happy it was not 15 lakhs

Hi Sandeep,

I Checked Their Site, Seems Ok To Me

Be Cautious Sometimes SMSes Arrive Late, In Such A Situation Use Your Better Judgment For Exits.

I Still Wish You Would Give Up Margin Trading Completely.

Only If You Had The Time & A Little Inclination To Learn, You Could Surprise Yourself How Well You Could Trade...

In View Of Knowing Whatever Little I Know Of You, It Should Be OK...In My Opinion.

The desire is there... Need someone to show the path.

Dear veteran members of the community,

I have asked this before but I think by the time my email got posted the discussion had moved on. Hopefully this time someone will answer:

1) As Savantji mentioned about learning, I would say that I have a deep desire to learn, and would so much appreciate it, if someone senior can draw a flowchart to follow. Perhaps I should start a thread for this? What would be really awesome is to have some sort of where to start, what all to read and in what order, and how to actually start implementing ones knowledge in the practical market (trading).

Hope to hear from the seniors :)

Best,

-- Joshi

If you don't have access to terminal and busy life. Stay away from Intraday and rather stick to short-term or positional trade to avoid total burn out.

Savantji,

In both jpasso and chambal fert, there is no bullish crossover as yet. (ie sma5 above sma6).
Is the reco given on basis of Expansion Breakout or something new for us to learn?

Hi Izzner,

Don't Be So Harsh On Her, She Did What She Thought Was Right.
Take A Box Of Chocolate For Her When You Return Home & Make Sure You Go A Little Early & Surprise Her.

Don't Re-Enter Yet.

Just BUY 1 Lot Of JPASSOCIAT & CHAMBLFERT (Futures)

It Is OK, You Will Make Double Of What You Lost This Month.

Hi Ritesh,

Please Don't Always Look For Crossovers, Especially If I Mention Something During Market Hours.

It Was Meant For Izzner, Because He Seemed So Upset With What Had Happened, So Tried To Do Something So That Would Recover The Difference In A Couple Of Days That He Had Lost.

During The Day & Through The Night Only Terminal I Am Sitting Infront Of Is Forex, Nothing Else.

Let's Hope He Recovers By Tomorrow Or By Day After & Everything Is Fine On The Family Front, Next Time He Does That He Will Need To Return Home With Diamond Jewellery.......:)

Hi Rishi,

Exit By Thursday Or Latest By Friday Before Noon....In Such Trades Difficult To Work Out Targets....Take Whatever One Gets

Time Frame Is Clearly Laid Out For You, But Advisable To Keep Todays LOW For Tomorrow As S/L.
