Dear Seniors,

I had posted these 2 emails but it took too long for them to get reflected. Reposting and hoping that one of our knowledgeable seniors will give their advice.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Post 1: The desire is there... Need someone to show the path.

Dear veteran members of the community,

I have asked this before but I think by the time my email got posted the discussion had moved on. Hopefully this time someone will answer:

1) As Savantji mentioned about learning, I would say that I have a deep desire to learn, and would so much appreciate it, if someone senior can draw a flowchart to follow. Perhaps I should start a thread for this? What would be really awesome is to have some sort of where to start, what all to read and in what order, and how to actually start implementing ones knowledge in the practical market (trading).

Hope to hear from the seniors

Best,

-- Joshi

Post 2: Some Newbie questions again.

Dear Senior members of the forum,

I have a few questions that I hope you can answer. A quick one-liner would be great

1) Why does it takes so long for my post to get reflected here. I mean once I post a message it takes over 5-6 hours to get reflected here and by then the discussion has moved on to something else. Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to expedite my posts?

2) Once more I request the veteran members to enlighten us newbies on the quickest path to knowledge enhancement. Something like a flowchart from where to start, what all to read and in what order?

3) Till we can be successful on our own (As well said by Saint :Teach a man to fish), how about Savantji post a weekly recommendation for short-term trade entries and exit? That would be really awesome. I have been able to get just over 5% profit in two weeks of trading using a portfolio of 4.5 lacs, which I find to be embarassing, considering the success of other veteran members.

Best Wishes and Happy Trading tomorrow!

You have answered you above question below. Their is thread by that name. Go look read & reread. Try applying that to recos in this thread. May be ask question or 2 in the context of "To keep a close eye on"

3) Till we can be successful on our own (As well said by Saint :Teach a man to fish)
Seek and you shall find.

Experience comes with time. Overall have patience. Live a life beyond traderji and one fine day you will accomplish your goals.

Past few days , some people asked for downloading EOD data,
Regarding it I ve make a utility software which converts NSE Bhavcopy into readable .txt file which can be uploaded into Charting software Amiborker, Fibotrader etc.
One just have to Download Bhavcopy from www.nseindia.com and the rest will be done by this utility.
One featute of it is that it can be used with OLD bhavcopies back from Year 1995 to 2000 ( demat share transition period) where stocks were traded in both physical and demat , the detail can be found in the Utility.

Dear Dr. Joshi,

I have learnt whatever I know from this Traderji forum only. I have not read any books, may be few articles here and there. So, I will not be able to recommend any books, magazines etc.

Here in this traderji forum there are separate threads for learning. You can go through the following threads:

1) Beginners Guide
2) Trading Resources
3) Fundamental Analysis
4) Technical Analysis
5) Advasnced Trading Strategies
6) Saint's "Teach a Man Fish"

If you get any doubts or need more explanations ask the members in the respective threads. You will always get answers fron seniors.

First reason why you are not getting answers early is that this thread is not for the purpose you have in mind. Secondly, the proper persons who have the answers to your questions may not be online when you post your question. You may not get answers immediately but may be a couple of days later. As the members are busy discussing other important matters directly related to this thread, your questions get a lower priority. It does not mean that you should not ask questions here. Even if your question does not pertain to this thread you will get an answer or a proper pointer to the location where you will get answers.
But your questions will be immediately posted here. There should not be a delay in reflecting you post here.

Savantji is posting his recommendations / triggers / any other action, here regularly but not at defined frequency like weekly. As soon as they are due he puts them up here for all. It is quite natural that the triggers etc. should be available as soon as they are found. As these triggers etc. do not manifest at regular intervals he can make it a point to post them on a particular day at a particular time. However, he regularly posts updates. Earlier he used to do it daily. But now being more busy he is unable to keep track of the things on daily basis. However, the latest triggers/recommendations are daily being updated by Uma.

I hope this clarifies your doubts. Please be assured that the members, whether newbies or veterans, always help you whenever they have something to share.

Hi Columbus,
Since educomp is also in business similar to everonn, what are targets for educomp? any timeframe for those targets?
-ritesh.
Hi ritesh,

EDUCOMP appears to be scrip good ,with good fundamentals.
Code:
Eq bv div cps eps opm eps-12 fv
  EDUCOMP 17.28 161 25 58.8 40.1 49.2 53.6 10
In last 3 months ,it douled from 1600 to 3200/-.With a stoploss at 2600.
one can hold the scrip for a target of 3800 in next 2 months ,but in small
lots because the GYRATIONS in the scrip are WILD.
