BUY @ Open Means When The Market Opens, Quite Possible For Scrips To Move Up From Where They Close, Wait For 5-10 Minutes Or Around 10.20-10.30 am To BUY The Scrips At Whatever Price It Maybe At The Time.

Good Morning and thanks a lot for the timely calls I have a newbie question:

a) Are there any technical indicators or other methods that determine whether the trade is going to be intraday, swing or positional?

For example, I am attaching the chart for Bank of Baroda. What I can see is the following:

1) The Bollinger Band is narrow, a sign the the scrip is going to be volatile in near future.

2) The SMA(21) is close to the lower band, a sign that the scrip may be oversold.

Both these are buy signals, but they don't tell the duration of the trade.

Really curious about how the duration of a trade can be determined on an approximate or definite basis. I personally like to go for short-term trades, as I usually like to see my moolah close to me , so this would be a great aid.
