I would just like to pose a question to you?

What is the value that you have added to this thread? Afterall what are your intentions? If Edward posts a system and people get benefited what is that you are going to lose? Is it your full time job to spoil the threads?

Remember all have limit to their patience & tolerance levels.

Edward is doing a good job and its up to each individual to decide whether to follow or not?. Its open forum agreed.However you have no right to poke your nose in between and say what is good and what is bad. Let people decide.

Dear Moderators,

Please look in to an option of allowing the creator of the thread to have a right of deleting irrelevant/unwanted and wasteful posts from his thread.

We all welcome constructive discussion but not some garbage in this great thread..

Hi to Low (from where - recent hi, daily, weekly)
Daily Av (of how many days and how does it help in trading)

May be very basic questions but will help me a lot.

Pips to Open = Change of price in that day...
Hi to Low = U can look at newest candle stick at daily, it's Hi - Low = Hi to Low...
Daily Av = Maybe it's volatility...

That's what I know, if there's a mistake, I'm apologize...

All our friends and future new comers remember, this is not a thread about English grammer or speaking skills.... this thread is about forex and forex only and for that we need one common language.... that's only objective of a language... i can answer your questions in 4 languages, may be 5 Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, English and Tamil.... unfortunately in none of languages I am very good... it's okie dokie in all languages

Sh3v4 I believe you are not from India, and we guys in India also have english as our second language.... thus we are all in the same boat...

We have a training workshop tomorrow in Surat, Gujarat, so I am in Surat right now, and will be busy with the organizers after 10, keep posting will revert back in the late evening...

The maximum way to earn profits, play at 15m/30m/1h/4h/1d/1w/1m??
And the not boring way, but got great profit too, 30m/1h/4h/1d??

Just wanna ask your opinion...

Which time frame is the best to earn profits?
I believe the one that suits you, the one that makes you comfortable, the one that allows you to be patient..... it completely depends on the individual... I believe..
I started out like everybody else at 1 min and 5 min but soon found out that I stressed out too much and was overtrading too... it became an addiction for me to trade... then the big forum guys influenced me to look at daily charts and four hourly charts, and I was like what the heck, who will wait for 3 - 4 days for profits or 16 -20 hrs for profit....
Soon found out that i m best suited for 30 min and one hour tf, I can trade with equal accuracies in 4 h but i personally can't wait for 16 hours....
I trade the european session and the first part of the us session.. that's all..
and 30 m , 1h charts are amazing in this windows of opportunity.

It's a question that each one has to ask themselves.... some get troubled even at 30 m and some can't wait more than 15 min.... once you know your comfy zone, next thing is to fine tune your system to that particular time frame....

It's like relationship i believe, some can be steady in relationships for ages and some can't even take it beyond a week... to each his own.... discover yourself first and profits will follow.....

I tried to replicate the same system in amibroker so that i can work on it...

But Amibroker's ADX (14) seems to be a lot slower to respond compared to MT4.. whole day, on 15 min tf, it never crossed the threshold of 22... while on MT4, it seems to respond very fast...

I managed to reduce the lag for the cross over so that's one positive...

in amibroker...
