Edward,
can i post a simple indicator made by one of my friend ,it depends on zig zag and support and resistant levels.
it is really a good and powerfull indicator which automatically draw the trend lines.
we can select any number of support and resistant lines to appear in the chart.

can we discuss this indicator , maybe we can use it in a powerfull way.
take a look to this screen shot .
what do you think??

hi khalidhassan, seems a good setup.why dont you open a separate topic for this as everyone including eddie can see that topic and reply there.this topic is opened by eddie to help others with his setup.so we all should discuss plus and minus and offshoots of his method only here.
dont get angry with me for saying this brother....

dear khalid,
I think your English is not so bad and to discuss about any thing you need to have deep knowledge and well aware about strength and weakness of the subject. English is not a matter in it. here in TJ, most of the members, they don't know proper English. so ...go ahead and start new thread about that indicator, and all seniors are with you to give proper suggestion where you need them.
good luck,

to discuss about any thing you need to have deep knowledge and well aware about strength and weakness of the subject
that's the problem.
am not aware of how to use it effectivley,am looking of a good discussion.

I'm sorry you guys .. Did not mean to distract your attention, but I expect that we can strengthen this system by this indicator.

I mean any system can be made good with extra indicators if its still on process..

If the system is fully moulded and if its working great, then No need for Extras...

trenlines are most effective when drawn manually, But this indicator also looks good.

If you want to Discuss about your indicator..Feel free to start another topic or Come to Forex Questions Thread

Statics of this system in this week of various currency pair in 30 min TF.

Please Note: Trades are based on my poor execution skills
Exits are based on very next opp. arrow after entering the trade.
Results would be different if you are aggressive trader or if you avoid ADX indcator or if you follow fixed profit taking

GBP/USD: Profit = 163 pips 3 loss trades out of 11

EUR/USD: Profit = -13 pips 3 loss trades out of 6

AUD/USD: Profit = 254 pips 1 loss trade out of 8

EUR/JPY: Profit = 94 pips 4 loss trade out of 8

Wow Sunny, thanks a lot for consistently using Lazy boy and also keeping a track of the trades... this would be a great motivation for others to use Lazy boy...

euro usd should have given you profits, normally eu is stable and good for TA.
If you have noted the entries of EU, please post the charts of the negative trades, where you entered and at what price, let me see, if you are following the system correctly or not... I would not be surprised if you had made loses in GU but EU is always a safe bet, so just wanted to see it personally...

In all you made 498 i.e almost 500 pips in three pairs, which is amazing....
keep up the good work,

Khalidhassan, in one of my posts I had mentioned that use whatever you want to trendlines, SR levels, pivots, fibo, etc etc... as long as it keeps the system simple and gives clear clarity most of the time, it's perfect... Some need more indicators to decide and some need less.... it depends on person to person... If the trendlines, gives you a bit more confidence, then go ahead and do it.... same is the case with any other indicators...

---------------------------------

VSSOMA, I am glad you are enjoying trading with Lazy boy in forex.... trading nifty is a little different balls game, because of the gap ups and gap downs... but one of my student in Surat, who happens to handle some 500 accounts/investors, uses our system to trade nifty and he is very happy about it... I am just going through the past historical data to see what else we need to keep in mind while trading nifty...

Whether we trade Nifty or Forex, as long as we make money everything is fine... ;)

Nice forex thread..

i think edward is using the Hull moving average which is fast and moves almost along with the price.i have attached it and the other indicator which paint the little arrows and cross on the chart. To tweak the moving average click on the chart,go to indicator list and then click on the indicator and then edit. try for different settings.
moving average cross is very simple but very effective.
