Dear Saint,

What should be the Larger & Shorter Time Frames in Day Trading. Can it be 15/5 or 5/2 or 5/1 or 15/5/1 mins. I am trying to go through the Thread studiously, some how not able to pick the ropes. Will keep trying till I pick up atleast rudimentary stuff.

This is SENSEX Daily chart. does this qualify a falling wedge?

Nope Tapaswi.......running in a channel to the down.As far as patterns are concerned,I'd like it that the pattern just jumps out of the charts........in this case,you could draw triangles,or wedges,cups and handles,h&s.......looks like a pattern there for each one of us.

Not clear cut,and therefore would not call it a falling wedge.....

posting on traderji after a long time. What a week of trading it has been. 2nd inside bar on weekly chart. Have attached a 5 min chart of nif-fut of last 5 trading session. Could u please explain the daily entry and exits of these 5 sessions whenever time permits. It would be really helpful to clear some of my doubts. Hope i am not bothering u. Thanks in advance.

Hello Saint,
In most of the charts i have gone through(Books) trendlines are mostly drawn with perfection.Please find the attached charts of Reliance Communication,you might notice that there is a break of the trend line with a high of 495.80.My query is does this make the trendline(triangle) invalid due to the break out or can we consider as a one off glitch.If you have allready answered the query else where please feel free to ignore the query and i will look out for the answers.
