Indians in USA are there because of merit and it has nothing to with US's secular stance. Secular approach of US does make it little easier for those from non-secular nations too. US also has large number of folks from Pakistan as well which is not secular.

Indian secularism is based on appeasement and is bed-rock for rotten vote-bank politics and hence that needs to be broken down.

Now, you are changing the basis of your argument.

I reiterate, Secularism (or lack thereof) in the host country has little to do with the decision to immigrate (or reside to work) there. People usually migrate for economic reasons and limited few do so for lifestyle reasons.

Did you ever go and live abroad? I did and have been to many countries in both the north and the south hemisphere.

From what I know, there is hardly any country in the world where Indians have not gone and they are in all professions. Handful of them are CEOs but large majority of them do the physical and gruelling hard work

Big portion of folks from Kerala are in Gulf countries. Back home, same folks would not get any work due to communist environs.

Better lifestyle is a relative term. Yes, life is relatively very comfortable, Better commute, Ability to own a car etc are definite perks in countries like USA. However, eating pre-cooked processed food heated in microwave day after day starts to pales in comparison against freshly cooked food after a while.
