Alex I read somewhere that you're using tradestation. Can you plz guide me how do you get real time nse data in ts ? Or even how to import data in ts ?

Nowdays Google even yells at me if I type "import data tradestation" in the search box.

Your refered bad boy is in bunkers.Qs. is about Trade Station so thought i might be any help.I use it and data feed is esignal for RT.If you want to feed data from third party then you need to make customer text file and add it in CAL folder.In short if you have some one using TS in your backyards then use this sw as its very tough to configure.
Alex came to me about using it and he always use to come to me as he cant solve many issues in TS. Frankly TS doesnt worth for money.It has been customed mainly for their clients ( TS IS A MAJOR BROKER IN US AS LIKE INDIABULLS ).Best is amibroker its afl are almost matchable for TS easy language.

sahaj gave my answer.. its pain in neck friend... my head spun by 360 degree some how manage but telling u its impossible to operate if u r not a programmer or sw geek .. take my word.. and more.. we have to forget bargain data providers for TS .. and PIB n all to use TS rt is impossible. ... it cost me a fortune.. hope my exp wd save u somethin
plz my openion is subjective i knw there r few sw guys who uses it on will ....

I tried it once created Custom Exchange txt file in CAL folder then try to import data but without any success.
If possible can you give me step by step instruction bout how to import ascii or metastock or csv data files in ts ?

I know that my friend.I too am using amibroker. Im learning few prize related strategies and amibroker doesnt fulfill the requirements.

yes you'r right alex. Its complete headache to get data in ts. I've done exactly what swagat told to do in his post but still I aint gettin it.anyways giving it another try.

Hi Guys wont be around for next few days as My grand father expired today, its a bit sad but also a moment of happines (a celebration of his LIFE) too as he lived his life to the full and lived for 100.5 years... came from the village with Rs. 20 & rose to being a very successful businessman... Lived prospered, Healthy, wise & Expired in peace having seen four generations of family... I cant imagine anyone having such a life... May his soul Rest in peace...

i can feel what u goin through buddy..sleepless night the other name of TS ..LOL.
p.s. plz dont forget to post if u get through this, actually i gone through wt swagat said n only found nifty chart with price 350 on riht side... ( wt i did is open downloader of metastock and converted data in to ms format saved it, and imported data to ts, acii or whatever didnt work for me but this thing at least show me something )
