I have Nifty from 3rd July 1990. OHLC was declared same for earlier months/years for Nifty, so it really may NOT help. The proper OHLC declaration started effective 3rd Nov 1995, and the Spot Nifty close for that day was 1000. Incidently, on 3rd Nov 90, Nifty OHLC declared was 279.02

The NSE had online trading facility well before BSE, and therefore, NSE officially started declaring the 'Bhavcopy' everyday at it's website.

BSE continued selling the data to private parties, who in turn sold it to retailers like us. Therefore, reliable data for BSE may NOT be available, as it would NOT be downloaded from any authentic website.
