Shankar Sharma: I have never paid any attention to what the rating agencies say. I have been in the business for 22 years and I have never seen them actually be right on any of this. So, I do not think we should pay any attention to them beyond the next 5 or 10 minutes.

Why isn't he including the TV analysts ??

Shankar Sharma - of First Global - wasn't he barred from trading (and his wife too) ?? But he was the one who predicted 2008 fall pretty accurately. OTOH, in 2011 he was saying that crude will revisit $55 at least once.. Heard him on ETV.

The 2008 crash was visible long before it started, dunno about the crude bit tho.
He has always been a bear, surprising to find him supporting the market.
