The Banknifty close was +660..................... and it's just getting warmed up.
After it crosses 20k the whole world is going to jump on it...

Closed some of my position. Yesterdays big fall was very unexpected given the rate cut.

As usual, the unknown performance experts knew it in advance.

It just gets better: Nifty could hit levels above 11,000 in a year, say experts

On my chart there was a banknifty high on the 4th, but the Nifty chart has a high on the 8th so I disregarded both. Either way, I expected a minor high followed by a sideways move.

The inversion of high to low can create a huge move in the opposite direction, meaning this can still work in buulllssss favour. IMO, today is a NR4 sort of a spinning bottom followed by a WR7 on Monday.

The final top for the Indian market this year is on the 7th April, +/- 2 days.

Putting this down here for reference later.
This forecast stays exactly the same.

As of now my hedge profits = approx 2* portfolio losses

On wednesday I will remove a half hedge and send the money back to their respective bank accounts.

All portfolios to be completely shutdown by Jan 5th unless the multi year gurus come out with something new.
Hi Taurus
What kind hedge position (short or put -index/stock specific) you use inorder to protect portfolio loss during downtrend? Sorry I am not much familiar here since I have been never done this before.

The spinning bottom came with the WR, but the WR went in the wrong direction. :annoyed:

If in doubt, find out what the reputed experts are saying....

The experts opinion clearly indicated that the top was in and it was time to short.

Don't ask what happened to the suckers who followed the advice.

The post you have quoted was made in Dec when volat was at an all time low and puts were dirt cheap. The cost of hedging now is much higher at current volat and not worth it.
The best bet now is to keep out.

Still some more upside left

Case for a correction: Why even bulls are nervous
