Hi Guys.

Break over. Have developed some rules for my self to keep greed and risk in check. Rules worked really well. Made 18k today (should have been 22k.SG owes me 4k ). Need more such days to recover the loss in heroic trade i made

Have one question for everyone. What are the maximum monthly returns on capital one can think of achieving. What is the maximum return anyone of you have achieved monthly consistently for say a period of 6-12months.

But you didn't answer the 2nd part of his post...... I still remember you having said that 10%-20% is easily achievable on a DAILY basis.......

Yes.. Actually went long in other scrips at that time. You know just after the exit at 74.85 i shorted at 75.5 with SL of 75.75. MY SL got hit. It made high of 75.8 and next moment it crashed to 74.5. Too much GU i did

I donot remember saying that it is EASILY achievable.(May be my ego was talking then )

But one thing i have came to realize in last 2 months is that, Real money is in Stock Futures. Making money comes down to cutting your losses early and holding winners. One can have BIG reward/risk trades in Stock futures.

One more thing which i feel is making such 10-20% return is only possible by Intuitive trading (with some soft rules) rather than a hard coded Mechanical system.(I might be wrong)

Anyone (" easily")making 10% to 20% of his capital on daily basis consistantly will be the highest indivisual Income Tax payer in the country within 3 years.....and if he compounds his gains he will buyout Bill Gates,Warren Buffet and George Soros within 5 years with Ambanis and Tatas coming as free.......

If anyone makes a modest 15-25 % per month, I can assure you he will live, retire and die rich....It is very difficult to maintain the high rate of return as your capital increases.....
