The Necklace of Pearls Author Unknown

Sometimes it is so hard to see what is in the other hand but do believe one thing, God will never take away something without giving us something better.

Being inspired by what Raamakant Posted, I present two-lines (from a Sanjay Dutt's film)

"Kismat Bannane Waale, Tune Kami Na ki
Ab Kisko Kya Mila, Yeh Toa Muk-kaddar ki baat hai"

God, who made our fates, gave each fairly
But, how these Gifts affected our lives is a result of what we did with them .

(Muk-kaadar: Self-Doing, our actions)

Sanjay Dutt spoke them well in the movie. But, did not reflect on its meaning.

Takdir, again, is different from luck.

Tak-dir is destiny, which some perceive as a function of Luck, whereas some think it to be a result of ones actions. I guess, hence this confusion, which many people have.

In any case, the prefix "Tak" is associated with words of Strong Action... Effort/Work... Hence, "Tak" is found in words like:

Tak-kalloof (Takleef)
Tak-kaaza (Pursue, Ask for, Demand)
Tak-To-Taaj (Crown won in battle)

and Tak-dir

Sorry, to bore you guys. I promise, no more!
