I too have bought the book last month and love it! BUT I have been trying to understand the actual usage by hand, I've printed out chart after chart but can't compare it to anything. The methodology is clearly explained but as far as to where to actually start is a bit of a mystery.
I am using MetaStock Pro FX and will try the metastock formula that Smart Trade has provided (thank you).
I want to say thank you for this whole thread as I've been looking for over a month on Mr. DeMark's work, I keep coming across the same articles and the same interviews but no real site to actually apply. Thank you everyone for this oasis in sea of sand.
Smart Trade, I also want to ask about some of your charts as the start of the countdown should always be on the 9th bar of a setup (or delayed if it perfected, then you go to the 10th or 11th setup bar (hidden)), looking at your counts, the 9th bar of a perfect setup are all right but sometimes you offset the start of the countdown to another bar later or sometimes the previous bar (8th). Is there a reason?
Thanks for your time and again I appreciate all of everyone's efforts, I know I'll be posting more questions.
Thanks again.
