I was looking at old post of yours, so have question for the same

How you define visual trend for above chart?

I can see few patterns between the candles where you marked as visual down trend like
* Morning star after 1st doji
* Somewhat like of piercing pattern (last 2 candles)

Whenever you have time, please share your thoughts.

Downtrend is very clear at the point market by red line. The market was rising...then it went sideways and went horrizontal...then a pivot low was made, then a new top attempted but immediately the price was rejected and pivot low cracked ...that shows that the uptrend is over and downtrend has started.

Candlestick patterns when confirmed by price action are very potent in identifying reversals.

Have many a bramhastra in my arsenal, but dont even know the abc of this method , also the reason to not take any interest in this is my belief that mechnaical system dont work. But after seeing some of your recent posts i am getting interested . can you guide me to the best place to learn this method?

Someone gave me this link today. It contains collection of few of my posts in the other forum where I had done a thread on this system. This is not uploaded by me but it serves the purpose of learning ...The name of the method is Thomas DeMark's Sequential system...and not TDST system ,the other forum while editing has given a wrong name to this method.
