Hi,

Nifty fut , 30 min chart.
Bar numbered alternatively to aviod clutter.
bar 1 is bar ending 15:00 on 8-mar
bar 3 is bar ending 9:30 on 11-mar
bar 5 is bar ending 10:30 on 11-mar

Bars 1,2,3 make Vikas 3bar pattern with IB. 1st and 3rd bar are bullish, middle bar is IB and bearish. It could be a reversal pattern since it comes near resistance.

bars 2,3,4 make another 3bar pattern with bearish implication (middle bar has higher high). So i guess both patterns imply bearishness.
please refer to chart and give your comments about correctness of patterns.

Dear vinst

This pattern is not as per three bar strategy...(plss go through starting pages for rules), pattern is not considered effective when 4-5 bars in a range.

well we can trade it in other way( Three bars under one big bar pattern)

1 & 3 bar should be of same color , middle bar should be of opposite color...

Hmm I guess for long say last 2-3 bar was trending bar , higher high higher low, last bar of that trend is green next bar is red and a bit small in size comparing to last 3-4 bars then the 3rd (setup) bar is green and if it is a bit bigger in size then its good and long will be above this green bar.

posting the chart again.. middle bar is Doji in first short trade...
Well I guess 2nd setup may be consider to go long but I will wait a bit as the red bar size is a bit bigger and trend is straight down. Actually this method is a kind of continues of trend rather then change of trend( as per my understanding). Vikash please confirm.
