If you can spare a few minutes during trading hours, you can buy the breakouts the same day itself. Thus you can get the benefit of follow up buying the next day.

I usually create a portfolio in yahoo in day watch mode and will check it during lunch break.Screen shot attached.

Just could not follow your idea. Can you explain in detail how this is done?
Thanks in advance and regards

Dear SMART Trader,:)

Does RPL comes to your watch list if it closes above 215 (with good volume) tomorrow? And how do you calculate volume gain? Is it with respect to prev.day? What is fly gain?

No Reji, because my system selects stocks trading within 15% of year high.
Last month I entered RPL twice. second entry was successful

Volume gain= % gain over 20 days average volume (V-20DAV)/20DAV*100
Fly Gain= Fortnightly Gain(10 TradingDays)

Dear RSI

If you want to monitor some shares during trading hours go to
yahoo india > finance> register > sign in > portfolios >create >feed the yahoo symbols > day watch mode.

You can watch it live because yahoo is getting live NSE Reuter data.
BSE data is delayed by 15 minutes

Got it. But my confusion is are you using any charting software to select the stocks that has broken out/broken down and then following them in yahoo finance portfolio?
