Call Writers are more for 200 strike price as compared to Put Writers. Also Short Covering is happening for 190 Calls which itself is holding DLF to rise anymore.

thank you very much your words made me happy. i just want to teach/share what i know and i will keep sharing the information about OPTIONS. and todays dlf move is a classical case of up trend in dlf :thumb:
Change in OI of 120 Puts was -5,62,000, does it mean that puts are being covered substantially or does it mean puts are being written the most at these levels?
I am totally unable to make out from the clues that this data offers to take directional trades?
@Kiran - Can u pl highlighten the rules/guidelines on how to make a view on the directions by observing the Options Data?

my friend use some logic few days back the stock idfc was trading near120rupees and 120put option was at 5-6rs so generally the put writers might have sold it at double the price or even triple the price, now the stock is trading near 130 and the premium is substantially has come down to nearly 1 rupee so there is a lot of money they have made already,
so, can you guarantee whats going to happen tomorrow ,if stock is falling they have to pay the higher premium once again. so that is the reason why the puts are being covered.
if you see negative change in open interest at 130 strike they you can decide that the stock trend is southwards :thumb:
