Hi Rajendrani,
I want to learn all these techniques from you. Teach me how can I? But you always , trade with 5 mins TF, don't you need TF coincidence with 15, 30 and 60 mins TF.

Need your suggestion to understand all the rules you follow... if possible... and finally thanks a lot for wonderful charts.

the crack of 2 pl's and one inverted hammer following the pl's gave all indication that short was coming....i was having a kneen desire today in mini to go short at this level but sticked with the mini rules ......

you can do that but as a ambush trade..if you have diff account do it there

It's been a long time since i posted on your thread as i have been busy at work. Just brushed through your thread before posting. I am pretty impressed with the level of knowledge that you have acquired in a very short span of time. Really impressed. Have you taken up trading as a full time profession.

Just trying to sum up my understanding of your trading style (Have brushed up on Saint's - Teach a man to Fish & Going with the miniflow before posting here)

1. You follow the 5 minutes charts for trading. How do you overcome the whipsaws of trading such a short time frame (purely with filters?)
2. You use the Pivots for all decisions - entry, adds - if any and Sar's
3. Initially you were using 30 (Nifty Futures) as a filter for entry (long or short) Has this filter remained the same if not whats the new filter.
4. You carry your positions overnight & do not square off the same as in intraday.
6. Do you by any chance deviate from pivot strategy just in case trendlines or candlestick patterns give you advance warnings.
7. Last but not the least how do you arrive at the filter - in case i decide to trade something other than Nifty Futures. Is there any formula for computing the same.

Also, based on your past trading experience did you by any chance had a negative experience due to gap up or gap downs as you maintain overnight positions. And if yes do you have a strategy for the gap days.

Sorry for asking so many questions which you would have replied umpteen number of times in the past but just trying to move on the fast track without wasting much time.
