Gone through many option videos including greatoptionguru

If you are starting with small capital, may be start with 1 lot and slowly accumulate the capital over the time. If you are working, then monthly from your savings you can add some amount to your trading capital.

My position as of now. Slowly trying to build the corpus. But as I said earlier, one bad trade takes away the multiple days gains. However, working for a better tomorrow!

In case of butterfly, if BN is moving out of your expected range, you can sell in the opposite direction to cover your initial debit.

Buy BN 26500 PE 200 Qty @ 145
Sell BN 25400 PE 200 Qty @ 110
Sell BN 26000 PE 200 Qty @ 36

Net credit = 200

Today I traded a BN BF as under
Buy 26300 PE
Sell 26500 PE 2 lots
Buy 26700 PE
Net debit 27 pips

For the first time ran this position till end (MIS cut off time)
For most of the day the net result was around Rs 400 but in the end Net result was no gain/loss.

Seek suggestions as to what I could have done in today’s movement?
None of my buy legs were in profit any time and adding to sold leg was not possible owing to margin shortage.

A naked long call was at 2 pm was a possibility but didn’t dare as I didn’t think of a proper hedge.
Has anyone here did anything outstanding today? I am happy that I didn’t get stuck in a losing trade.

Not outstanding but ok i did short both call n put. Multiple times based on bn spot. Received 6k but at last when nifty is around +88 i thought it can make +100 so sold nifty pe with greed. Its naked..at eod managed with 3.5k profit
