Trading Nifty by Levels

Ms Khushi,

I have tested few scrips of today with your volatility sheet, and the results
are interesting.

Just one question (this time, only one!):

What is the level of volatility (daily) to be considered high? And what is the
level for low?

The above high/low levels of daily volatility - are they uniform for all the scrips or,
do you use different settings for different scrips?

hi vikrit
u never posted ur trades
which strategy u follow for trading
plz share
hi khushi,

for positional trading mainly use BB, ADX & MACD. ADX & MACD is a killer combination to catch trend with strength. but recently since last month trying to find/develop something which can be more profitable in whipsaw, sideways mkt specially for positional.

for intraday as mentioned in a post calculate customized pivot levels and type of market on intial 15-30 min opening data and trade according to that. as now learning your method, & if it will suits my nature in testing then will trade acc. to it b/c may be i will not able to use it as wisely as you do. nowadays getting less time for intraday, whenever will do, definitely share here.

For stocks i consider above 3 is good 4 all type of stocks
in such stocks i easily get 2% profit, which on 8* exposure results in 16% profit
formulae is same for all scrips
use same settings for all, else u will spoil ur game

Thank you.

I don't know what went wrong with the earlier file; I have used a backup copy
now, and the results are similar.

Apart from volatility, what other factors do you consider to shortlist the stocks?
In one of the earlier posts you said - change in price more than 2% and traded
volume more than 1000 lakhs. Any other parameters?
