Trading Nifty by Levels

i used robot s/w yesterday....it made me book loss on both long & short side......useless s/w....
this taught me a lesson that instead of relying on any s/w, one shud know how to use technical indicators....

when u also get time, pls tell how u selected these stocks today.

Same parameters specified by Khushi.

- Volatility should be more than 4%

- Change in price should be more than 2%

- Value of traded quantity should be more than 1000 lakhs

- I add one additional parameter, that CMP should be more than 100

That's all!

A small query hope you won't mind. I have read in many places similar lines like these "level once broken wid volume "The question coming to my mind is , How much volume can be considered as good volume.
my method is very funny
i dont care daily volumes
just use histogram
n levels nerar support or resist, bars must be higher than near neighbors

Well - do it in the reverse order.

1. Select stocks with CMP greater than 100

2. Out of those stocks, select the ones where the change in price is > 2%

3. Out of such filtered stocks, find out where traded value is more than 10 Cr.

(I use NSE's bhavcopy for all the above)

4. Now, volatility is calculated only for these stocks, and those having
more than 4% are picked up. (Khushi's volatility sheet is used for this step)
