Good Morning , KHUSHI, ATHREYA, FF35, eXimius, and Team Members....Sorry for Late Entry at Forum...Actually I started market little late today...Sold Nifty at 4710 and covered at 4685... :clap: :yahoo:

Now as KhushiJi's Option Trend File...Wanting to Go long above 4725....Nifty Fut..As Trend is looking Bullish since morning..

Out of 2 lots kept on 4710...1 lot shorted at 4710..one was not traded...I don't know even how it happened??? order was kept by my broker kept order in preopen at 9.12 am...

Order Entry Period
9:00am - 9:07/08am
The client can place new orders, modify / delete the orders. The order entry can stop randomly between 7th and 8th minute.
Order Matching & Confirmation Period (can be called Price Discovery Period)
9:08am - 9.12am
The exchange arrives at the Opening Price, trades the matchable orders @ Opening Price.
The client cannot modify or delete the orders during this period.
Buffer Period
9:12am - 9:15am
Used as transition period between pre open and continuous trading sessionBottom of Form
Normal Market
9:15 A.M 3:30 P.M.
Normal Trading resumes.

How can we place order in Pre-Open ?? I am surprized...am i missing something

Through Broker you can Put Ximited order from Odin-Client...And it produce to Exchange in Pre-open Session...(This is the clarification I got from My broker)

Pre-open is not for Derivatives or Stock Futures it is only for those equities which are present in the Pre-open List ...Basically the Nifty 50 Scrips...

Hmm...there is advantage of putting orders in pre-open...bcoz for us to enter the mkt we need atleast 3 mins 9:15-9:18 am to figure out direction....

Broker must be charging extra for putting orders in pre-open...isn't it ??
