The reason behind sbi reversal

when Sebi first mooted the proposals to clamp down on PNs, bears targeted the stock, knowing that many PN holders would rush in to liquidate their long positions. But with a bit more clarity emerging on the whole issue, most PN holders are said to be holding on to their positions, waiting for a better opportunity to lighten their positions. This has pushed the bears at the counter on the backfoot, who are now frantically covering up their short positions. The stock has risen 25% over the past one week.
