Shree Renuka Sugars (Q, N,C,F)* announced today (Monday) that the board of directors will meet on Jan. 23, 2008, to consider unaudited financial results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2007 and the proposal of stock-split of the ordinary equity shares of Rs 10 each of the company.
Incorporated in 1995, Shree Renuka Sugars is an integrated manufacturing company with strategic focus on sugar and its allied products in power and ethanol. The company has a capacity of 2,500 TCD and 20.5 MW power at its key manufacturing facility in Munoli, Karnataka. Besides, the company also has a sugar manufacturing capacity of 2,500 TCD at each of its two leased facilities at Ajara and Mohannagar in Maharashtra.
Shares of the company gained Rs 135.95, or 12.26%, to trade at Rs 1,245. The total volume of shares traded was 285,382 at the BSE. (3.06 p.m., Monday)
