Internet users in India struggled with slow surfing speeds and companies tapped redundancy systems to overcome a disruption to international connectivity due to the breakdown of two undersea cables in the Mediterranean, industry officials said.

An anchoring ship off Egypt’s Alexandria coast damaged Indian-owned FLAG cable and also SEA-ME-WE on Wednesday morning and urgent repair teams had set sail for the location. An official of Reliance group, which owns FLAG, said the repair will take about 10 days.

The country’s outsourcing industry and internet service providers have all connected to several lines and the downtime in one normally leads to deflection of traffic to other routes. But some mission-critical operations can sometimes suffer. Wednesday’s disruption in SEA-ME-WE and Indian-owned FLAG cables had not been resolved till evening.

“The connection was severed in the afternoon, resulting in internet connection delays,” says Internet Service Providers Association of India president Rajesh Chharia.

Forgot icicidirect & reliancemoney - i think both of them are using same s/w.

u need to teach intra / delivery / square of while u trade otherwise they will do on their own decision.

If you see carefully the friday mkt..., mkt is not bullish at all by any means. just the tech stock moved -which is not permanent. The frontliners & mid cap were not moving. but some doji formation & bullish engulfing indicates monday need to b positive. Rumours r on the cards still tht thursday more downside is there.

Still a volatile market ahead this week.

next trading session 15k in sensex is possible another source.... - god!!! No technical is applicable if happen so...
