@PT: What should be the fair price of below mentioned car:

Model: June 2006 Wagon-R
Buy Price: 308000
Book Value @31/03/2010: around 170000 (it is high due to decrease in depreciation rate from 20% to 15% otherwise it would be less around 15-20k)
KM: 25000
Colour: metallic (silver)
Some minor dents (avoidable no need to do anything)

Please let me know the fair value of this car. I'm quoting 1.20-1.25 for this but the seller is asking for more...around 1.40-1.50

waiting your response

abhi

edit: sorry for asking about something else than stock market.... :)

is it normal or luxury:confused::confused::confused:

Bhai Still The father of all stock market has to close above 10250. If that happens I am going to invest in my shopping list. Also be prepared for a massive upmove now. 12,000 on the dow atleast. 6000 on Nifty, FTSE.

This coming rally will be massive I promise you that. So go bargain hunting if nifty closes above 5000 and closes there for atleast 3 days continuous.
Dear PT
will mkt be able to close above 5000 for may series?

Thanx and regards
Subrat
If PT bhai know the answer then why did he sold his 4900 call @27.** ..........:p
As per my TA suggest max upside capped at 4975-5000 would enter there in 4900 puts  Positional

LOL no activity from FIIs or DIIs today. They are watching the other markets before a trend is set. This doesn't look good Rally without FIIs or DIIs is not good. Volumes today are huge though massive volumes. Anyways lets hope for the best. And Hope DIIs and FIIs jump in the buy Wagon. DIIs have been net buyers for quite sometime and we want FIIs to participate who would rather put money in Europe now due to the cheap valuations there. Anyways lets see how US pans out it rallied on low volumes yesterday and only a very few stocks closed in green. VIX for US was above march 2009 which means fear has been highest in past 2 years since oct 2008 and whenever VIX starts to retrace perfect time to go long. Usually a VIX high at 40 levels or above signals a peak and starts to come down equity have rallied in past 2 years. Average return can be anywhere between 7% to 30%

Sorry I should say FIIs volumes were high they bought a lot and sold a lot but they didnt provide enough liquidity to the market by being a net buyers.
Same applies for DIIs although they provided a minute liquidity taken over by the FII net sell.
Still negative liquidity in the Indian markets. The figure for combined selling and money taken out by both FIIs and DIIs in the month of may is around 6600 crores now. Worst month since the bull run started.
