can someone plz guide me.I am holding 5000 pe @ 106 & 4900 pe @ 77.Hence my breakeven would be if mkt goes to 4860 level.
1. Am I correct
2. Wht are the chances.Is it better to sell now?

Iavg my put when nifty spot was at 5140 at 58 now combine cost at 70 close 62.5 hope for a good gap down on monday and good profit for me by the grace of god last two three draught covered hope so

Hi Fabrics,

You will have to take decision based on your belief.
You are correct about 4860level at expiry.

But most of us do not wait till expiry. Hence today also (Nifty @5017) your positions are in profit. If market goes below further in this week at 4950 then also you will gain more profit.
At the same time if market goes at 5050 your profitable positions will turn into loss.
Now its your call based on your belief. Will market go to 4950 or 5050?

My belief is that market will go to 4950 once within this week. But again this is my belief & I may be wrong. Hence protecting myself (I am holding my written 5100call @107)with stop loss of Rs65.
Normally I do not hold positions for long. Whenever I see profit then I book it & search for another opportunity.

avg cost is 70 and I just booked my puts at 117 now would enter again below 100 lets see I think mkt would test at least 5030 before going down:thumb:

Bro better is always book and again enter so profit is with u always as from this week timedecay would start playing:thumb:
on friday 5000 out was written mercilessly so below 4980 we can see squeezing of option writer as they would start booking loss below that and u can see fire work then I have booked my put would re enter around 100 cmp 113 lets see tgt 149.95 If that came:clap:
