Re: Volumes on 02 Feb 2010

So...going by this and bunny's analysis "Today was a down day. Volume on S & P CNX NIFTY index was higher than yesterday. F&O activity points towards an change in the direction of the market. The last two weeks have seen bear move, except of the two previous sessions in which we closed in green. So change in direction points to going red again(from 'pullback' to bear resumption) or going richly green(bear to bull)? My observation is just before the said move is to begin, the money making options(longs) are marked down either by sharp (climactic) move in the direction of weakness, or by use of volatility factor that contributes to option price." ......... we should be looking at an upward move then ???
Yes .

European Markets are pushed back in trend. And so is the US market. I hope our market soon gets back in trend. Gold going up and the other commodities signal a bullish signal for equity markets. Dow has a strong support at 10170 level and hopefully it will close significantly above that. And I also hope that no more spoil sport such as Obama or China come back in the picture.

If its Dow, a closing above 10,256 should do well for bulls.

As I finished reading this the Stoock jumped 30 points in few seconds!!
Shall I chalk this to coincidence or good karma:lol:
Thanks bunny for the insight

Hi guys

well, remained off for last couple of days. Trying to understand VSA; and miraculously got it complete and proper. After continuous efforts for 3-4 days, yesterday morning it (VSA) settled in my mind;
and....

I made huge amount of trade-investment, entering long in following scripts.

IOB at 94
Hindalco at 155
HDFC at 337

yeah, the prices were a bit high; but the time I got the understanding; the scripts were trading higher.

But, now i know what it is all about.
It is, atleast, not about going in accordance with any rules or principles; nor it is anything to do with instinct; nor any fluke.

It is simply a definite investment plan where, there is no space of a thing like stoploss.

My sincere thanks to Bunny for all the time and pain, and as I have disclosed my trades; anyone is free to watch the moves. These positions are going to give me minimum 10% within one month.

happy trading

And @ Bunny Sir

There is no need to use deliverable volumes; normal volumes do give good and clear results
:thumb:
I have not confirmed whether deliverable volumes are useful or not, but I am discarding that idea because data compilation was getting difficult.
