if you still want to apply VSA for intraday then that can only be done on 1 hour time frame... but then you will be having a single price bar of 1 hour and total 6 in a day....below that VSA is not worth considering

bro VSA can be applied to any time frame be it 5 minute or EOD.
but there are certain things which are beyond any kind of analysis, be it technical or fundamental. Like, current situation where the markets are reacting towards global issues; and around 80% of the trade is being done without any logical fundamentals. Those, who really have some indepth knowledge or information are only a few, who are digging their gains as much as possible. But such situations are short timed and can easily be tackled with; if we can maintain our cool.

Do you "trade" using VSA or the below is only your thoughts about VSA?

[QUOTEYou have to wait for 2 days to 10 days to build up a position. Can you say that a day trading. I THINK NOT. And more over as already discussed VSA cannot be applied to the index, because index is the weighted average of the various stocks and have expiry in the end of the month.
[/QUOTE]
I think it was me who had told you this some time back. And now you are
regurgitating it back.

From what I have recently found, VSA can be applied to indexes as well. The charts used by Tom Williams in his books are majority of indexes.

They are not considered about the shorter time frame in daily basis. They tend to look at the bigger picture with the weekly charts.
Again, is this your personal thinking or reality. I can show you on charts the importance of daily time frame.

I am not saying that vsa is useless. it gives far more understanding then any other topic, but it cannot be applied on such a small time frame of intraday or on index.
I have given accurate and successful calls using VSA in intraday time frames. I have not attached the charts of any of those trades, but if one insists, I will surely attach them.

good good...we are seeing the effectiveness since the levels of 5000...4800...4950...4750....now 4700...we can put our stoploss on 4600...that will be much good....if it allows our pocket to hold to that extent....i told earlier also that last year was recovery and major trend was up...lets c what happens this year.....
