Any broker who says your order is going through a colocated server at the exchange is lying to you or doesn't know what they're talking about.

Our servers are the closest to the exchange however. We've taken up space on the same road as the NSE in a datacenter. Others are farther off in Mumbai.

Spanking new is a colloquial english idiom used by native english speakers in their day to day conversation. Since in india we formally learn to speak/write in english - the way any foreigner would learn Hindi without leaving his own country, hence the misunderstanding. Just like we get offended by 4 letter word, F*&%$, which in colloquial english is just a word capable of expressing a wide ranging gamut of emotions, apart from its formal dictionary meaning which usually is the one that pops up in the heads of non-native speakers.

Meaning: Entirely new. A new or unused object.
Origin: This idiom originates from doctors spanking a newborn baby to make it cry to start breathing.


Note: BTW, the usage of the word on RKSV's ad is way off the mark. Looks like the guy who made the ad just wanted to show off his non-existent linguistic prowess by exchanging Brand New for Spanking New. Well, sh** happens.

IMHO at the max a broker should provide basic stuff about trading terminal and terminology and basic startegies like MA cross and all on its own website. When the broker associates it self with a third party site and sends links to join paid courses, then he is lawfully liable for success and failure of that trading method. If some gentleman sues the broker that on your trust i joined the trading course and i made loss then the broker cant run away from that claim of financial loss.

PS: I am a loyal customer of RKSV and really happy with services provided by them and i always refer RKSV whenever some newbie approaches to me for helping hand. I do not intend to pull its legs, i just want to correct what i found wrong.
