We didn't have any connectivity issues today.

Well, we did the following about a month ago:

-- Put up a ton of servers to handle clients
-- Quadruple our bandwidth
-- Redundancy on all of our switches and servers with auto failover
-- Redundant connections to all exchanges
-- Dedicated backup servers offsite

So far, we haven't faced any problems since we migrated to our new infrastructure.

whatever happened to the quadrupled bandwidths, automatic failovers, "tons" of servers, and dedicated backup servers....

yes , this is what i wanted to know.

@rskv : are you bullshitting us? We have no way to verify your contingency plans. you could just be running one server connection to NSE for all we know.

Obviously to save cost.

What i don't understand is how can you afford a decent infrastructure when you charge Rs 20. you would barely break even in this business.

Something doesn't add up.

Well, at least they informed the customers in time, not midway through an order or something.

Yes TP.....its good for traders who trades intra....but how for short term traders/BTST traders....@least they(all brokers)need call &trade in this situation @least for overnight position traders to squareup thier trades ..for this they need seperate connectivity with exchange .....

The RAM failed on a server early in the morning during a reboot. We discovered it at 7:30AM. Our backup server grumbled through the process with some connectivity issues. That made us miss the first 25 mins of trading today.

Bandwidth / fat pipes is more for getting quotes and ensuring connectivity to our boxes in the datacenter. That part was never affected though.

Intra day chart still not fixed at the end of the day. As per your telephonic call it should have been fixed by 1 p.m.

I can't open a new trading account in a single day, so will bear you only for a week not more than that.
