Shorting Synd Bank is asking for big trouble. Same with IDBI. Hope your reading is correct. Better to be pragmatic.

ICICIDirect allows Margin & MarginPlus trading on a daily settlement basis. Check out the List of Stocks in ICICIDirect.com to see which scrips are allowed to be traded in these categories & also their respective Margin Percentages allowed. This gives you multiple exposure to the extent of the Margin Percentage allowed.

As short-selling is allowed only in Margin/MarginPlus trading platform, just go ahead & sell away as you please. You can also rest easy that your postion will be auto squared-off between 1445 - 1515 hrs if you don't square-off yourself. So no short delivery woes there too.

may day is made. luv you guys. 84000 + 70000 = 154000 net profit.

Sorry I m away for a while, what sachin might be doing may be correct for himself. But It is not worthwhile trying this even at the paper trade level unless u r superior in expecting the trends to move on.
