What is the main reason behind the failure of most of the new traders?

The main reason in my opinion is unrealistic peer pressure. The traders (fake or real) on the social media portray their lives as billionaires. Aspiring traders make that their dreams (may not be consciously). They either start with too much capital or high risk per trade and suffer a loss that they cannot bear based on their present income level.
