Please post about charts in PI.....you trading intraday trading from chart?if so please share ur experience...

Hi VJAY,
I have been trying Pi from start - initial beta testing stage. After the last update, it is much stable (and seemed reliable). Using bsnl wi-max internet(512kbps to 1mbps). the chart formation also smooth after the latest update.

Using only Pi charts to find out the intraday breakouts. Fairly better results even though data was inconsistant as Yusi pointed out. Never used the option to place order from chart (price could not be edited, it offer only SL-M where as my preference is SL-L). Technicals - 2MAs,MACD and RSI. 5 charts open most of the time.

Yes, 2-3 time it happened that the order was executed but the chart never shown that price!

[Note : I am a very very small level trader trying to graduate to futures]

I use Zerodha myself.Not very happy with the system. The Support team appears to be good. But getting to them during trading hours is a pain. Then they ask you to hand over your system through Team Viewer and that too during trading hours as they tinker around with it. The Net position page is not refreshed unless, it is closed and opened afresh each time, especially when you have a new position added. Many issues, like a SL order can be modified only as a limit order. Else you have to cancel the original SL order and then add a fresh SL order. I have not gone into their value added services. There are no resources within Zerodha who can really take you around the services.

There is another problem (you may call it a BUG) in PI.

I am using Reliance 3g network for trading (and i believe many of my friends are using the same). It disconnects automatically after 3-4 hours. So we need to connect it again. After the reconnection if I will try to put a buy/sell order then PI hangs and never comes back.

Then I have to close PI and restart it.

After restart only it works again. In between I lose some 3-4 mins of screen time, and if some my positions are open then those 3-4 mins cause lots of worry. I dont know whether any of my friends faced this type of situation or not.

Zerodha, can you look into the matter. And can it be programmed, when network disconnects can PI generate any sound alert ?

I tried both on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 7 Professional but the same error appears on both. Unable to contact Technical Team as it was Saturday.

guys, zerodha was testing something on Saturday, that maybe the reason.

I saw the tickers working on my ZT terminal.

Thanks to Comm, we have added another feature on the tax P&L statement excel download on Q.

If you are tallying your ledger with the P&L, you will need to know value of all your open option positions as on start and end of the financial year. We have a report that does this for u.

Check the last point.

Happy that you have incorporated turnover as per IT ( ICAI defination) and as per netting on contract basis pretty quickly....thanks for that.
