Giving fixed deposit as a collateral is something most brokerages don't accept. It is quite a painful process. But you can very easily pledge anything that trades on the exchange like equity and ETF's like liquid/nifty bees. I can tell you how the processs works at Zerodha

When you pledge FD's, exchanges don't accept FD which is in the name of the client. You will have to book the FD in the name of the broker, and the broker in turn can submit it to the exchanges. This is an operational nightmare, and hence most brokers don't support this.

This blank ticks happening after market closing is fixed. They don't form now.

Open Positions in KITE is not showing entry prive/ Avg. price

udpate : it does now.

update 2: nope. short positions do not show entry/avg. price.

Lots of problems with Kite today. When we try to put orders, it hangs and does not allow us to change the order price, the prices dont change. Had to log out thrice and log in again.....

to add:

the position P&L shows inverted. Where there's supposed to be profit its showing loss.

can you look at this on priority ?

strange that this issue has been ongoing for 2 days in a row.

Hope back office and balances are not messed up as a result of this.
