Dear zerodha,
It's good to us if you avoid asking zpin and client code for call &trade (if we call from reg . Mobile no)its too much difficult to enter these nos every time we call you. ..
I can't see draw lines tab in chart in mobile kite....is it everybody or its due to my mobile configeration ?also is possible to get sound alert when trade triggers in mobile kite?

Is a demat necessary if I'm only going to be trading stock-futures? Will I be able to continue trading stock-futures if my IL&FS demat is closed & I don't have any other demat? I know that futures don't directly deal with a demat but I just want to confirm with you guys that there isn't some weird regulation mandating a demat in any case.

Demat not required. But if you have no demat mapped to the trading, u will nto be able to see equity feeds.

Kite : There is a nice "tick" sound that happens when an order is executed. Maybe something wrong with me but I haven't heard that "tick" sound when a square off order is executed (using Bracket order).

Edit : Been using Kite since last few days. Looks workable. Used it when my ISP dumped CDMA, used it in cybercafe, used at unfamiliar computers, used it with different connections. Looks workable. Maybe Zerodha can expect some more fault finding for Kite from my side now

If you wish to trade in Equity Intraday or Delivery based trading you need to have a demat account opened and linked to your trading account. If you are trading in Equity Futures then demat is not required. In Kite you will be able to view the chart for Equity Segment but you cannot trade as you don't have a demat account. Hope this gives you the information required.

Zerodha, When i cancel an order in CrudeoilM in Kite, I get 4 notifications sometimes. It gives mini heartattack to me. But all are same.
Happens sometimes and only in Crudeoil.

If u don't mind me replying again;
Without demat u cannot trade Equity Cash intraday/ delivery
You will see Equity Cash charts only in Kite, not in Pi/ Nest. Don't know about Z5.

Is there any way to remove that voice in 'PI'? I am busily concentrating and then all of a sudden, "your order has been updated/executed" freaks me out.
