automation and ability to place orders for multiple accounts are the advantages. We allow multiple accounts which are immediate family..
i3 is execution based algo and would not be possible on NOW. The cost of running a dealer terminal would be around Rs 500/month for NSE and NFO and i3 will probably cost around 3k/month.
NOW servers have moved out of NSE and hence don't have any speed advantage now. Our the next few weeks, I'd probably have a vested interest in saying this, but we should be the fastest terminal out there.
There are 2 things which we are doing:
1. Exchange connectivity of 140 orders/second, industry average is around 40 to 50 orders per second.
2. 100% disaster management backup, so our servers would be running at 50% load from 2 of the best data centers in the country.
This hardware upgrade will hopefully feel like your car is on NOS.
The 200 lot limit is from the exchange and dealer terminal won't help it take off. With an i3, an order slicking can divide 300 lots into 100 pieces and send to the exchange.. But the other way out is like you said place 2 order one for 9000 and another for 5000 if you want to execute 14000 nifty
