Doshiji, I don't think there is any "pre-open" for Call Auction market.. How can Call auction 1 market pre-open end at 11:15 and Call auction 2 market pre-open end at 11??
In this 1 hour, the All first 45 minutes are for you to place orders, and the next 15 minutes is for order matching and execution.. pending orders are cancelled..

first 45 minutes are "pre-open" for Call Auction market..
We get the messages daily of Call auction 2 market pre-open end at 11:15 and Call auction 1 market pre-opened at 11 etc on ZT.. May be Call auction 2 market for illiquid shares & Call auction 1 market for bsesme shares...
pending orders are not cancelled now a days as per new circular..
No reply from Zerodha yet ! ;)
In a call auction, orders are entered into the system but remain unexecuted till the end of the order entry period after which the order matching happens where orders that match result into a trade.. The "Call Auction" mechanism differs from normal markets in the sense that in the "Call Auction" session, the orders are matched on a multi lateral method as against the normal market where orders are matched on a constant bilateral method to determine trades.. In the Indian markets, the "Call Auction" method is used in the Pre Open session and also for trading in Illiquid scrips.. Call Auction 2 (highlighted in green in the attached image) represent the Call auction messages for trading in Illiquid scrips.. Each session is for an hour, where the first 45 minutes is for order entry, the next 15 minutes for order matching, trade execution and buffer to move to the next session.. Call auction 1 market (highlighted in yellow in the attached image) represents the Call auction for the SME segment of NSE. Hope this helps !

Hello Zerodha,

RKSV have stated that they are working on allowing limit orders through Cover orders.
Do you guys have it in the works ?

Also do you guys plan to reduce your transaction charges ? They are significantly high compared to RKSV ..
Also we need one cancels the other (OCO) or bracket orders where if tgt is hit the sl is automatically cancelled and vice versa

Dear Nirav,

I have one question for you that if you like RKSV as per your requirement than why you dont want to open account with RKSV ? Thanks in advance.

The puts I bought in the morning have vanished from the Order book and Trade book. :annoyed:
The orders placed 5 minutes ago are also gone.

Hi Trader J,

I have been with Zerodha for about 2 years now and would like to stay with them for the foreseeable future.

However, with the competition heating up and raising the game, I think I can ask my broker to do something about it.
