Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

@Zerodha,

Today i had pending order @ 2386 on heromotoco futures. It did not get executed. Price moved too fast.

This sort of thing has happened so many times. Is there any way to get order filled during such volatility.

Have missed many profitable opportunities like this.

I want to understand why there is so much slippage. Is it because i place my order too late. Could placing an order earlier could have filled it? or is it only the privileged member of NSE who get their fill.

Please do shed some light on this topic for the benefit of other members.

Hi Zerodha,
I made Pay In in to commodity account yesterday @ 2:30 PM using Nest trader.
surprisingly amount not reflected in my acc and called up support team and they logged the ticket.

till now no reply from your team as where the money gone.
I attached my SBI bank statement and even called the bank they confirmed amount been debited from bank side.
Please look in to this on priority
still I dont understand how this is possible even after using your Pay in service.

The SEBI circular on this came sometime last July, it very clearly said that if equity segment has to be enabled on a new trading account, there has to be a demat account mapped to it. My guess is that your account was opened before that.

Why does the demat have to be mapped?

What if you have bought stocks for intraday and it hits downward circuit? The broker has to take delivery of the stock and if he does where does he send those stocks to if there is no demat account mapped to the trading account?
If he keeps it in the pool account, it is a violation of rules.

Hopefully clarifies...
Thanks for clarifying.. :)

A very very poor management by zerodha during election time. I use call and trade for most of the time.. Thursday their landline went for a toss and on Friday it was busy for 45 minutes. Thursday afternoon I called ur sales office and requested them that their support team calls me as I had to square off my position.Sales team responded they will make arrangement but support team never called.. The only guy who is good in ur office is Bosco, please bring him back from Chennai to Bangalore..I am tired of ur services, thinking of closing ur account
Selective amnesia by Zerodha, Why this question is not being answered?
You guys need to take criticism in a good spirit and work for a better broker. There are lot of good things in Zerodha which I liked, But the way the election scenario was handled was not right.. In my earlier calls I had requested to add additional phone line facilities and ur executives told she will request her manager to do it..Come on guys, be professional and treat all of your customer request on priority..

Yep could have been managed better, we had 75 people logged in, but hadn't anticipated that our lines has a limitation in how much volumes it can handle. We are working on getting it fixed soon.

The only was is to put a limit order at a much higher price, slippage is something that will improve only when liquidity increases and interest in stock futures is hardly there.

Ganesh, can you PM me the ticket number, if it is still not updated that would mean that we haven't yet received the credit yet.

The interest is there. Price action is smooth if you see heromotoco , unlike thinly traded stock futures.

Not the answer is expected.:(
