Margin benefit of just 2K is way too less I thought its more

In case of futures, the margin benefit is almost 54k, so if you buy 1 lot futures and sell next month, margin required is only around 7k instead of 60k.

In case of options though it is different the reason being buying and selling options has different criteria...

Filing IT is required if you have income/investing/trading.

As a trader, you have an option to either show your capital gains separately or show it together with your other trading income (MF can be shown under investment).

My guess is that you were looking at July futures and at 12.15 onwards started seeing the Aug futures on your amibroker..

In my case, i have 0 salary, very few test F/O trades - 1 Future, 3 Options along with some Equity/MF redemptions (Long Term). Income would be < 2L

I dont think so. Take a look at the data table for USDINR14AUGFUT. See the price variation between the 12:14:00 row and the 12:16:00 row. Whats the source of this jump in price? Which also leads me to the other question...Where is the 12:15:00 row?

Use ITR 4, but you don't need an audit as such, show your 3 or 4 F&O trades on ITR 4
