I already tried the new back office in IE broser.When I clicked on orange button,It has not responded.But When I tried the same on firefox, I got the message that, it will be processed within 10 working days.So I brought the matter to your attention for the rectification

Zerodha is very good with probabilities.

Both the 60 day challenge and the Crowd Index are based on probabilities.

We know that only 10% of traders make money, but with the 60 day challenge, the trading volume is increased as everybody thinks he will win the challenge but overall Zerodha wins every time from increased trading activity.

As far as Crowd index, so far its acting as a contra-indicator than an indicator.

1, 3, 5 & 7 are in the opposite direction of 2, 4, 6, 8.

Zerodha is not charity organization to give 1,00,000 every week. That is equal to 52 Lakhs a year.

I have nothing against the 60 day challenge (I won it multiple times) nor the crowd index.

I am just saying the odds are in favor of Zerodha in both cases.

Let me tell you this very interesting info, the client's trading volume actually reduces after he starts a 60 day challenge than before taking a challenge.

But yes, from the start we have been vocal about it, this initiative has helped us get a lot of new clients. So as of now it has solved all the purposes that we had initially thought of when starting this:

1. Slow down the existing traders, who typically think that just because it is low cost they can trade a lot more. The idea was to make this as a reminder.
2. Show the world that people actually make money trading, check out the winners page all those people on it..
3. Share what consistent profitable winners did
4. Also importantly, help us get a lot more clients.

We run 0 advertising, and only way to advertise is by running interesting initiatives, donno if you have heard of such things run by brokerages, forget India, even around the world.. .

Coming to crowd, the first 2 weeks was to see how people respond to it, and hopefully we will make it a lot more fun/competitive from next week..

Also as we clearly are saying: "create a forward looking stock market indicator" , we are looking at creating an indicator, is it contra or not only time will tell..

Why will we give out 52lks/year? The idea is that it will probably help spread the word Zerodha, so instead of spending on google ads, newspaper ads, and etc like every other brokerage in town.. we think these ideas if accepted has a lot more power to reach out to the masses....

Suppose NIFTY close on Friday at 7700

Suppose two person predicted on first day (Rs 100 K) 7700
Suppose four person predicted on second day (Rs 70 K) 7700
Suppose three person predicted on fourth day (Rs 30 K) 7700
Suppose Ten person predicted on Last day (Rs 1 K) 7700
How you distribute 100 K in above all winners.

We have a formula in place for this where the 1lk will be divided based on who called it the earliest..

200 k (2x 100)
280 k ( 4x 70)
90k (3 x 30)
10k ( 10 x 1)

Total 580 k

the guy who who guessed on 1s't day, 100k in this 580k , around 20% of the pot and hence gets 20% of 1lk.

with over 2000 predictions and 2 days left, as of now there are only 2 persons who are within a 1 point range..

Suppose it expires at 7700 and ;
1) The nearest prediction is 7691, made on Wednesday
2) The other prediction is 7709, made on Thursday
3) Another prediction is 7690, made on Sunday (the earliest)
What is the price money earned by these participants, if any ?

Also, what is to prevent me from making multiple predictions by using multiple email ids ?

hi guys/Zerodha,

anyone has a BDSA account with zerodha ? i recently received forms for same. it has 3 Schemes. But i don't know how it works ?

1. Does it automatically move from Scheme A to B to C depending on my "holding value" ?

2. Has anyone converted their Zerodha BSDA account to normal Zerodha Account ? What is the procedure and charges for same ? Can i continue with the same account or will i have to close the BSDA account and open a new Normanl Account ?

If not within a point, no one gets anything..

Each account is mapped with a unique mobile, but yeah people could have 2 or 3 mobile, no way to stop that...

2. Yes it will be, you might be asked to change the pw the first time you login into the trading platform.

Please arrange the 60 days Winner List, put first who win more, and also make web site light, use reduced size image etc. Hope help you get a lot more clients.
