As we have mentioned earlier, this year is for us to give you all beautiful tools to help you trade..

Small preview of our tool that will require you to no more download a SPAN margin file to see your margin requirements.. It is just a beta and commodity/currency needs to be added, but all those doing intraday equity or trading equity futures can start using it..

My query is i ve bought a share n willing to do intraday so to sell the share is f2 the only option to apply SL n sell....plz reply
If you have to sell I guess the option is either you sell as market order or as limit order mentioning the price at which you want to sell, if you are worried about stock going lower use the stop loss order and sell..

Hi,
Zerodha,

Your calculator is taking wrong value (much less) for cover order [Rs 5914 for Nifty ] when we click on calculate. Actual is margin is Rs 6949.

Do you want to decrease CO margin to 2% (another Rs 1000 less) soon? :)

Hello,

Please correct my understanding if wrong -

For Equity options ----- as per Zerodha charge list brokerage is 0.01 % or Rs 20/Trade which ever is lower.

When I try the brokerage calculator for F&O Options ---- the brokerage does not go below Rs 20/trade when the turnover is either 250 or 2500 or 25000 or 250000.

Am I missing something here ?

Chill yaar...
option turnover = strike price x lot size , say for nifty 6000 CE, 6000 x 50 = 300000

chill maar.....

Short delivery could be for any quantity, check this blog..

even today , i had to call your number to see what happened and why shares are not credited , and this T+1 qty shown only after the call , and even now i cannot sell it because its not credited

what if today there was a 10% fall ,and shares not credited now is your fault @zerodha , i am disappointed hugely :mad::mad::mad::mad:

even after auction yesterday i cannot sell because you are unable to credit the shares :mad::mad:

not only that there are 10 shares still missing , as i bought 2000 shares

Purely asking out of curiosity, is this share not credited etc. problem related to DP, exchange or something else?

Thanks
