Yes, squaring off positions don't require any extra margin.

In the web based tool, I could not see any "Square Off" button against my open position therefore I tried putting the Opposite "Sell" order for my "Buy" position but it failed saying you are short on margin money, Was I doing anything wrong?

get your own membership from nse then :lol:

even then the exchange will know your orders.

Not possible with any brokerage out there, the risk management team would always keep a watch at every one of our clients, but no one would be watching any individual clients. Today we have over 40,000 clients, so you can be rest assured, that no one will really be able to point out and watch any one persons account..

There might have been a pending order for the same position already placed, and hence it might have given you an error

Yes withdrawal is already there, fund transfer into the account is anyways available on the trading platform and is what is used by everyone to transfer funds into the account.., so it won't be there on the new BO.

U should have received an email on this yesterday
