Unable to see my limits and trading account balance from ZTrader web platform(all showing zeros and no holdings are displayed)
and backoffice platform is down ??

Anyone else facing same issues ??

What happened to funds switch between equity and commodity-I think a mere promise to induce to do commodity trading nothing else.

And mobile platform for Z Trader.

I have closed my IL&FS account (opened while opening acct with u )but they haven't sent me any mail.Isn't it mandatory for a broker to atleast mail the client that the account has been closed.You have informed me but IL&FS haven't.

For dues/forms they used to send mails.Closing not even one mail. :)

Or is some mail id available of NSE where we (clients) can inform that we have closed account with so and so broker.

If my account with CDSL is closed, will i be able to login CDSL web (easi) ? OR viceversa : If i am unable to login, then can i assume my Demat acc is closed.

Sachin ( Zerodha), i am asking you because you guys are sincere and have lot of experince and most important- 'Willing to help' traders.

while we wait for Sachin to respond. Here's what i did to close my ILFS demat account.
  • I emailed Zerodha about closer of demat only. The responded asking me to contact ILFS via email - [email protected]
  • I emailed ILFS asking for procedure and also if any amount was due.
  • Received reply from ILFS with a pdf a/c closure document and the due amount.
  • I paid the due online. Emailed the screenshot of payment and asked them to update the same. Got response that the same was done.
  • Then I took print out of closure form; couriered it to Mumbai with Attn: the name of person who responded to my emails.
  • Followed up with courier details.
  • Again in couple of days, emailed asking if they received my courier and if the a/c was closed. Received email confirmation.
  • Checked Zerodha BO and the demat details were still showing.
  • Forwarded ILFS email to zerodha informing about demat a/c closure and that the same needs to be removed from BO.
  • Got confirmation from zerodha in couple of days and the same has been updated in my BO.

Again to make sure ILFS did their job and there won't be unnecessary "charges" in the future...i tried to login to ILFS site - and got confirmation that my a/c is closed....

@Comm, thanks for the info.
but my query was not related with Zerodha linked ILFS demat account.I have account with Zerodha.

My query was a general query ir-respective of broker.I don't know broker's business tactics to increase number of accounts.But many brokers offer Zero AMC demat account and my personal experince was- my account was not closed timely and had to persuade to get from them in writing.
 
While we are talking about Demat Account closures, I might add my own experiences.

I recently submitted forms to close a Demat Account(with a large Indian pvt bank) at NSDL. This bank's demat department is not reachable via telephone, email or any other mean. The only means left is the branch RM, who has confirmed the closure of my Demat account.

But I am still able to logon to IDeAS NSDL completely normal and it nowhere it says it is closed. I have not received any official confirmation from NSDL or Bank's Demat deptt. In fact both are unreachable. And bank RM says account is closed.

Don't know what to do now. lost
