I want to open an trading account with zerodha. Can i send demand draft of rs.200 instead of check because in my bank account check facility is not available?
Yes you can, but we will need some proof of your bank account as SEBI mandates us to collect.. So do send your original bank statement or a statement attested by the bank..

ZT Mobile is known to be stable on most Android devices which are above 2.1
There was a recent update on the app which takes care of this issue, so you have to just uninstall this and download and install the app again. You can keep the app running in the background and do other tasks and then get back to the app for trading.
However, you cannot keep the app running in the background successfully the whole trading session as it can get resource hungry sometimes and also uses up a lot of your bandwidth.

Uninstalled Ztrader android app and installed by downloading from trade.zerodha.com/download.
Still the same issue is there. I log in and check market watch. Then I open two other applications and switch back to ZTrader. The phone hangs for a few minutes and it says forced to quit.

We can Update Nest Plus by two ways.
1. Login to ZT and Through Launch Plus.(currently not working)
2. By running The Nest plus setup file directly.

After downloading open Nest Plus setup file .
If NSE NOW not installed in the same system it will install to ZT folder (C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3)correctly.
You will press next...next... Finish.

If NSE NOW installed in the same system .
Nest Plus installation may target NSE NOW folder to install.
So you have to be sure it is not installed to NSE NOW folder(C:\Program Files\NOW).
You may change this while installing the Nest plus in the third step of installation by Pressing the Browse button and choosing the ZT folder.

If correctly installed in ZT folder (C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3) it will launch ZT after installation.
Otherwise it will launch NOW.
I have followed the instruction

I am getting this error now.

Tried redowloading the exe but in vain.

me too re-installed but same issue again. Really fed up of this. zerodha, please do something..
