Which browsers will it work with ?
Will work on all browsers!!

html5 will make material difference to our web/ mobile users.. People who work behind firewalls, can't typically install the software application or use Java applet based trading as java also is blocked from installation.. In such places the html5 version will give you streaming data..

The good thing with html5 is that it automatically adapts to the mobile/tablets.. So you would not need a mobile version at all, you could just use the html5 version..

Is it a bandwidth hog ? Generally the newer developments in the web technologies, combined with better internet services, result in the newer applications being more resource hungry.

Hibhai,

I said day after tomorrow, sorry if it sounded like today while typing!! i3 is up already, we already have many of our clients using it!! To use i3, you will need dealer terminal and to get a dealer terminal you need the NISM certification on dealers module..If you have this ready shoot an email to [email protected] and keep [email protected] in c.c.. We will call you back on this...
Thanks. if you can please share the link for new mobile trading app. Sorry, if I was sounding rude but you really test our patience sometimes.

@timepass, the html5 is similar to a browser version, so will definitely be much lighter, light enough to work on the mobile..

@hibhai, it is not a new mobile app, the same html5 will adapt to mobile and tabs...

I jump the gun on this forum, but typically there are roadblocks especially when there are so many regulators involved..

html5 is not at all a bandwidth hog. It is just similar to the bandwidth required for refreshing quotes on an exe terminal.

have you seen moneycontrol terminal? If not then go to moneycontrol.com/terminal

It is a very good example of html5

No. I am not talking about html5. bugs were going to be fixed in the mobile app. Can you please share the link of this app after the bugs are fixed. four weeks are over now.

Does this money control terminal provide live streaming without any laps?

I just check it shows only SENSEX stock? can see Nifty 50 too?

If html5 is similar to this then should be fine.

Hi Zerodha,

I get to see Z5 in web login.

But when I click on it , pop up vanishes.

( there is no pop-up blocker)

Can you please look into it ? Is it released or in testing phase ?

First day and we are facing some glitches, it is the first html5 based trading platform in the country!!! looks like it won't be live for the trading day today.. This should be fixed by end of the day..
