Money goes back into your bank account and then based on your bank account. In case of inactivity, we transfer the money back to your bank account within 3 months..
I got a different reply from yr backoffice..they asked the nominee name and said they have updated it in their records,
"The nominee has been activated. However, he will not have access to see you account balance. It is just that, in your absence, he/she will be able to claim the account closure or money withdrawal, with required documents"

so i would like to ask you whether the nominee can send you a letter of request for withdrawal of the funds to my bank account or it will be automatically transferred after 3 months?

Yusi, you can move a scrip in you market watch to your desired location on the watch by selecting it through your left mouse button and moving it up or down by holding the mouse button pressed and finally releasing it when the scrip in place as per your preference.

After doing this you can press ctrl+m which saves your market watch group scrip order settings.

Hope i was clear
Thanks. Yes, it's clear... unfortunately there are a few buts.

Drag-drop is known; how else do you think I was managing ordering market watches? The problem is that on exit, this ordering of scrips does not always get saved. Once it sticks, you are all set till the next time you have to add / remove / rearrange symbols.

Ctrl-M is the command to set the default market watch; will try it nonetheless if it works even if it is not the thing wanted.

The only sure thing I'm aware of is 'Save Groups'. But, rearrange a market-watch and go to Groups -- the rearranged order is not reflected there.

ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh.. don't say that !!! Maybe the cheaper brokers will increase their rates saying "If xxxx can give it at 20rs. then why can't we" ?? :D :D

Jokes aside, every broker has their own costing and marketing methods. Let's not expect one broker to follow the other.

Call n trade, if you called our support to place your order. If you didn't call it could also be because our risk management team squared off your positions..

Soon we will have more brokers than traders.. ;) ..

As I said earlier, most of what is happening now is trying to catch up. The issue though is if you don't get to a certain scale, the model will be completely unviable. So make sure to check the background and etc, but the key here is all the new ones are dependent on NOW and a free software may not behave perfectly when overloaded.. I guess a couple of them are offering ODIN for comm, you need to see the performance of that to know the true quality of service.

Btw anyone tried hangman http://www.zerodha.com/z-connect/blog/view/game-save-the-market ;) , I know a few hooked to this, donno if they are on traderji or not..

Here's one idea you can try. It works for most of our staff and I'm sure it should work for you, too. When you have set up your market watch and you've done it in the order you wish to view it in, press Ctrl + G and click on "Save Groups." As soon as this is done, press the X on the top right-hand side of your program and close it. It'll prompt you to "Save Market Settings on Exit" - you choose Yes. This should work.
